Projects begin with a sketch and move through design development, engineering, fabrication, and final installation under a single team. Production is coordinated through a network of highly specialized manufacturing partners, including millwork shops, machine shops, foundries, and finishing facilities. Each component is produced in the environment best suited for its material, scale, and precision requirements.
Charlie Carroll
Creative Director
Charlie holds a BFA in Product Design from Otis College of Art and Design, where he later returned to teach woodworking, metalworking, and digital fabrication while managing the school's technology lab. Before ddeessiiggnn he worked across projects for Hollister, Nordstrom, Eric Clapton, the City of Los Angeles, and Uninterrupted, a range that reflects both his technical depth and his eye for what makes something feel considered rather than just competent.
At ddeessiiggnn, Charlie leads design development and fabrication strategy, guiding every project from initial concept through final execution. With a rigorous understanding of manufacturing processes and material and structural design, Charlie ensures that what gets drawn is something that can be built with precision and built to last.
Aaron Rosenstock
Managing Director
Aaron holds a BFA in Studio Art from UC Irvine and spent years working directly with Joshua Vides and Cut Once, executing large-scale builds and installations for some of the most recognized names in art, fashion, and brand culture. That work provided a ground-level understanding of what it takes to move a project from concept to completion, the sourcing, the coordination, and the problem-solving that happens between the drawing and the finished piece.
At ddeessiiggnn, Aaron oversees client relationships, material sourcing, and project coordination, ensuring every engagement is managed with the same standard of care applied to the work itself. With a background in graphics and a strong design perspective, Aaron brings both creative input and operational precision to every project from the first conversation through final delivery.
Together they've built brands, designed restaurants, developed retail environments, and fabricated custom work for private residences up and down the California coast. The range of that experience, across industries, scales, and build types, is what makes ddeessiiggnn work. Every project draws on both backgrounds, from the first sketch to the moment it arrives on site.
